Cornwall - July 2007

Some piccies from our trip down to Corwnall.

We were supposed to be going camping, but the weather had been so bad & the forecast was still looking grim, that we got a caravan for the week instead. I found it on eBay for £100 on the Friday afternoon, someone had cancelled at the last minute.

The weather turned out OK, it rained hard the first three nights but was dry & sunny during the day. The only day it rained was Friday, so we were lucky really.....this was the summer of floods after all!

Whilst there we visited Falmouth, The Lizard, Penzance, Land's End, St. Ives, Looe, Polperro, Stithians reservoir, Newquay, Perranporth, St. Agnes & The Eden Project. When we left on the Saturday we went into Devon over Dartmoor & headed down to Torquay. We visited Shaldon & Teignmouth, Stew used to holiday there in his teens, so it brought back a few memories for him. After that we went to Bournemouth to stay at my Uncle Doug's for the night & visit my Gran who was in hospital.
